Mary Wiltenburg is an award-winning reporter whose print, radio, and multimedia stories often profile people and communities. She writes frequently for The Christian Science Monitor, and has contributed to publications and programs including This American Life, The Boston Globe Magazine, Der Spiegel, Grist, Longshot!, and Nightline, from across the US, Germany, Kazakhstan, Rwanda and Tanzania. A member of the Ochberg Society for Trauma Journalism, she also has extensive experience editing, and teaching journalism to junior high school through college students.
